Playing for WWFC

WWFC is a successful and vibrant voluntary organisation dedicated to making football available to local children and young people at affordable prices.  It was Hertfordshire FA Charter Standard Club of the Year in 2012 and is now an FA Charter Standard Development Club.  (Only 20 clubs in the county have effectively achieved this status.)

The philosophy of the club is that the enjoyment of the children comes first, and creating a positive environment through positive encouragement will best help our children to develop.  Success is not measured in trophies, but we have enjoyed a few in recent years – including our first county cup triumph last season.

WWFC volunteers provide football to about 400 children every week.  With the opening of the artificial turf pitch we are looking to extend the football opportunities available.

We have structured development plans for mini-soccer, and are lucky to have a supportive group of coaches who work together for the club and for our players of all ages.
