Directions
From the A1:
Leave the A1(M) at junction 4, signposted Welwyn Garden City and Wheathampstead (A6129).
At the exit roundabout, follow the signs for Welwyn Garden City and Wheathampstead.
After a short stretch of dual carriageway, turn left at the roundabout, signposted Wheathampstead B653.
At the next roundabout, turn right following the signs for Wheathampstead B653.
After 3 miles, go straight across the roundabout, signposted Wheathampstead.
In the centre of the village (opposite The Swan Pub), turn left and go up the hill, signposted St Albans.
At the top of the hill, take the first right into Butterfield Road.
Heartwood Gardens, the new Charles Church housing development, is a short way along on the left. Proceed along the new access road through to the car park and playing fields.
