From the very first game of the season, the boys showed their intent to play attractive, passing football which resulted in a 7-1 victory.  An unbeaten run of fifteen matches followed, finally being halted at the end of March.  After finishing the season level on points with Bury Rangers, unfortunately we fell at the final hurdle, losing 1-0 in a League Title playoff.

Promotion to Division Three was achieved with a record of played 18, won 15, drawn 2, lost 1.  Our defence was the meanest in the league, conceding 28 goals, whilst ten players contributed to the 87 goals scored.  Progress in the League Shield was halted in a twelve goal Quarter Final thriller, after defeating two teams from Divisions above.

Goalkeeper Lewis had a great first season with Tigers, in defence Jack, Ollie, James, and Rob were so solid.  Utility players Callum B, John and Jop fitted as comfortably into the back four as they did the attacking midfield.   The central midfield of Alfie and Joey (latterly joined by Boris) gifted and determined.  On the flanks, with skills and goals in abundance, we had Tom and Henry.  Finally, upfront we had the 49 goal partnership of Adam and Callum L.   What a great season, well done Tigers.

My thanks go to the parents, Tracey, Ash and Ian for all the support this season.
