A hot summery day for the Sharks first game of the season.
It was a trip to King George - with whom we had two great - and close games last season
The match started brightly and The Sharks - only fielding 11 men had the brilliant keeping of Cameron H ( stand in for Jack T ) to thanks for keeping the scores level . Midway through the half a great break by the ever dangerous debutant , George D , resulted in his first goal for the Sharks - a great strike beating the keeper .
King George broke straight back when a corner bounced around the box before it found the back of the net .
The game was end to end and just before half time Sharks won a corner - delivery was excellent by Jonny and Andrew finished well ( His first goal )
Second half and with the heat playing a part the Sharks started playing some great football and finding room through the middle
George was on fire and showed great strength and determination to beat off several challenged and bury the ball in the net .
Within afew minutes it was Four , a through ball and a good finish by Jack B .
Sharks were winning alot of the ball and really pressing - George was after his hatrick and sure enough his tenacity and strength got him into a great position on edge of the box and he unleashed a shot that almost took the net off !!
Great finish and a well deserved hat-trick
Final score 1-5 and a very well deserved win for the Sharks .
They showed strength across the whole pitch and a baking hot day - with no subs - kept going brilliantly and finished well .
Great team performance and well done to first goals for Andrew and of course George !!

Man of the Match - George D ( special mention for Cameron who was excellent in goal)
