This morning the Sharks travelled the short distance to play Lemsford Lions who have been playing very well this season.  On a relatively small pitch and kicking uphill the Sharks started brightly with Ollie and Jack combining well on one wing and Ben and Cian working together on the other. It was all Sharks but, as in other weeks, a break from Lemsford followed by some ball watching, a good shot and a goal . 1-0 to Lemsford.  Charlie and new boy Kai entered the fray and the Sharks responded with a display of Barcelona-esque type football. An equaliser by Theo was followed by a goal from Josh of which both were a product of some breathtaking football.
H-T arrived and surely with the slope in our favour a comfortable victory was in our sights. And so the second half started with much Sharks pressure resulting in another goal from Theo. However, Lemsford are a very resiliant team and took advantage of some indecision in our defence to reduce the defecit and then some ball watching to equalize.
The match , which we seemed to have in control, then opened up. We hit the post twice whilst Ben made a fine save with his nose !!. Kai had a couple of chances and then the final whistle went. A draw. Handshakes all round  and  three cheers for a great game of football!!.
