An interesting game against Wodson Park, who only had nine players. However they were well organised and broke effectively, even taking the lead when a long shot bounced over Barney. The Tigers had nothing to show for all the possession until just before half time, when the recent goal drought was finally broken. After neat build up play on the right Louisa slipped a square pass to Robbie and he stroked a low shot into the far left corner of the net.
All square at the break and it looked like it might stay that way - the Tigers seemingly intent on even the numbers up by tackling each other! Playing with width the Tigers always looked dangerous though, particularly down the right with man of the match James taking up an advanced position. Goals from Ollie P and Patrick S finally secured the win midway through the second half. A visibly tiring Wodson conceded two further goals in the dying minutes - a late brace from Henry, our eleventh player to score this season.
A timely win for the Tigers, but for me Wodson were winners too!
